This Reuters video news report informs us of the following:
A tiny African village is making a fortune from The Simpsons even though few residents have ever seen the satirical cartoon. Soap stone carvers in Tabaka have been given a lucrative contract to make models of characters from the hit TV series. Tabaka is now an official merchandiser.
