Seeing Labyrinth again last night also reminded me that I almost dropped out of college after my sophomore year at San Francisco State University because I was going to move to Los Angeles and muscle my way into an internship at Jim Henson's company. That's right! I was going to give up the writing to become a Muppet!

Well, I didn't have the guts to do it, but I sometimes wonder what my life would be like if had been a Muppet for the last 15 years. And, yes, I know some of you will argue that out of all the people you know I am the closest thing to a Muppet that you've ever met in real life. But I take that as a compliment.
