Sexy Bitches!

I'm feeling rather sticky rice today because I just saw Lust, Caution, Ang Lee's espionage thriller that doubles as a strangely beguiling love story and that features some totally sexy bitches. No, I'm not talking about Joan Chen and that unknown lead actress who's been giving teenage boys boners. I'm talking about the two male leads—fine examples of Asian man meat at its mouth-watering best.

We all know that Tony Leung is a sexy bitch—I mean, in normal circumstances he would be too old for my tastes, but there's no denying he's a stud (In the Mood for Love, Infernal Affairs, anyone?, anyone?). Yeah, I know when he throws that girl around in a fit of violent lust that I'm supposed to be shocked and frightened, but I couldn't help swoon a little—especially since Ang Lee is rather generous with lingering shots of Leung's naked sweaty body. And my god, there were sexual positions in that film that I don't think I've ever seen—even in porn.

The other sexy bitch in Lust, Caution (and the latest member of my spank bank) is Wang Lee Hom, a New York-born Chinese American who happens to be one of the most famous pop music stars in China. Lee Hom doesn't get all naked like Leung does, but he does get to smolder a lot with those irresistible good looks.

I always welcome opportunities to celebrate sticky rice fan lust, so today is a good day—especially since sometimes Asian filmmakers can be downright nasty:

  1. Madley Said,

Wowzer. I'll have to go Asian for a bit now too on your movie recommendation (I went and saw JUNO, didn't I?)...

I got caught up in the smooth and sexy Clooney-Krasinski duo in Leatherheads tonight and watched the most UNSEXY woman in the world trying to be hot sh*t, Renee Z. Bleech! Get me to Shanghai, quick.

  2. Tony Leung may just be my favorite actor on the planet. The Leung/Kar-wai combo is always a home run (Happy Together, Chungking Express, 2046, and, of course, In the Mood for Love). Mad propers for yr love of Leung and Mood.
By the by, Wong Kar-wai's English language debut came out yesterday, My Blueberry Nights. The reviews are a little mixed. Apparently Norah Jones who stars is a little tepid, but there's always Jude Law as a heart broken diner owner and Chan Marshall as a heartbreaker. It's not coming to Boston for another three frickin' weeks, and I'm pissed. Gonna netflix Lust though.

  3. Please note that Lust, Caution is leisurly paced at two-and-a-half hours, but sometimes I don't mind that, and maybe you won't either. Besides...SEX!

Indeed, this was hot stuff! I was surprised to finally see not so much his twig, but at least his berries. =)
