New Contest! Guess How Many 2008 Movies Prince Has Seen in the Theater This Year, and Win a Fabulous Magazine Subscription!

Let's kick off this week with a new contest since I still have free magazine vouchers left (you didn't really think I spent money on that shit, did you?!). The grand prize is a full year's subscription to one of the following magazines: ESPN, Food & Wine, Forbes, Fortune, Glamour, Inc., Money, New York Magazine, Sports Illustrated, TV Guide, The Advocate, The Atlantic Monthly, The Economist, The New York Observer, Time, or Wired.

All you have to do is guess how many movies that have been released in 2008 did I actually see in the theater in 2008 as of today. It's not as easy as you think because I actually don't blog about every film I see—I mean, c'mon, people, can't I have some experiences to myself?!

Anyone in the United States can enter (sorry, Ukrainians!), even if you've won before. Leave your guess in the comments section. If you're not a Blogger member, you can comment anonymously and leave your first name or last name or your initials; when I announce the winner, you'll know if you won and all you have to do is e-mail me. The person who comes closest to the number of films wins. In the event of a tie, I'll randomly draw one of the tying entries. Deadline for comments/entries is Monday, July 14, 2008, 11:59PM.

(The accompanying photo comes courtesy of Edward Gunawan, who has figured out that the surest way to win a coveted mention on my blog is to take cool pictures of me. But wait a minute—haven't I been photographed with that Ben Sherman shirt before?! I'm gonna have to fucking burn it now!)

  1. Prince has seen 26 new-release movies in the theater this year. Unless you're including underground snuff porn, in which case the # is probably much higher.

  2. I am going to go with an extremely high number: 56.

    You heard it here. 56.

  3. I'm going to say 44 - the same number of times you've broken my heart . . . so far, you prick-tease bastard!

  4. So how many have you seen, Prince?!
